The Tinewa DLE6 smart lock is designed for simple installation and quick setup—no wiring, no special tools.

Follow this complete guide to go from unboxing to fully functional keyless entry.

🔧 Part 1: Installation Guide

What You’ll Need

• Phillips screwdriver
• Tinewa DLE6 lock components
• 4 AA batteries

👉 Most standard U.S. doors are already compatible.

Before You Start: Check Your Door

• Door thickness: 1-3/8" to 1-3/4"
• Backset: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4"

1️⃣ Adjust the Latch

• Set latch to 60mm or 70mm
• Ensure it locks into place

2️⃣ Install the Latch & Strike Plate

• Insert latch into door edge
• Beveled side faces the frame
• Secure with screws
• Install strike plate

3️⃣ Install the Exterior Panel (Keep It Vertical)

• Place front panel on exterior side
• Feed cable through door
• Keep panel straight and vertical

4️⃣ Install the Interior Panel

🔋 Power On

• Insert 4 AA batteries
  

⚙️ Part 2: App Setup Guide

📱 Step 1: Download & Prepare

• Download the Tinewa App

• Turn on Bluetooth
• Keep your phone close to the lock

🔗 Step 2: Connect Your Lock

Follow in-app steps:

• Tap “+” → Next
• Select your lock
• Tap “+” on the right
• Name your lock
• Select door opening direction
• Tap OK

🔑 Step 3: Change Admin Passcode

• Go to Settings → Basics → Admin Passcode
• Set your new admin code

👉 Important for security.
